Class Descriptions

Duration: 60 minutes

Intensity: 4/10

What is it: This will be the start of your Wattbike romance. This class is designed for riders and non-riders of all levels. An introduction on how to use the Wattbike is essential. We will teach you everything you need to know so you feel 100% confident joining a group training session.
A Maximum Peak Power Test will be completed and this will give you an idea of your training zones. You will then be guided through a 30-minute coached power session to give you a taste of what to expect during a Wattbike Group Power Class.

Intensity: 8/10

What is it: Cadence = leg speed. When you spin your legs really fast during a riding session you burn double the calories and your riding technique is put to the test. Skilled athletes are able to ride at high cadences whilst also generating high wattages. Put YOUR legs to the test in this high intensity, high speed class. It will be tough, but it will be worth it!

Intensity: 10/10

What is it: The BIG DADDY class at Paceline is our Wattbike Power Group training session. Our coaches will stretch your pain barrier and put your legs to the test. If you want to get strong (and increase your speed on the bike in the process) this is the class for you. Prepare to sweat.

Intensity: 7/10

What is it: When you ride on a Wattbike you cannot stop pedalling else your bike will stop. This means there is no cheating. So when you spend 60 minutes in our endurance class it is the equivalent of riding for 2-3 hours on a real bicycle. Endurance training is an essential part of any training program. Join us for a moderate intensity burn session. This class is beneficial for strengthening your cardiovascular system and very effective when working to drop a few pounds.

Duration: 60 minutes

Intensity: 6.5/10

What is it: The perfect crosstraining session for cyclists and other athletes. We will teach you to move your body in all planes of motion and get the juices flowing through every joint and tendon in your body. This class aims to stretch, mobilize and wake up the muscles that you ordinary do not use. Although the intensity is moderate, we promise you will feel it the next day!

Duration: 75 minutes

Intensity: 9.5/10

What is it: High Intensity Interval Training made fun and functional! This class is guaranteed to hurt (in all the right places). Burn calories whilst also building lean muscle in our unique Paceline Mash up class. This class is filled with high energy functional movements and Wattbike sprint sessions. Bring your best!
Please note: We do not recommend this class if you are recovering from any recent injuries or have pre-existing cardiac conditions.

Intensity: 6.5/10 (this can be 9/10 if you are very tight and have limited flexibility)

What is it: This class is is perfect for those who have forgotten how to stretch or have become more tight with time. Did you know that you lose flexibility as you become stronger? This is a natural progression that we counteract during this looseing up class. Our sequencing gradually takes you through a series of stretches and active mobility exercises to help you find your deeper range of motion. You'll start to notice mobility and strength gains after your first session!

Duration: 35 minutes

Intensity: 8/10

What is it: 35 minutes of High Intensity Interval Training is just enough time to raise the heart rate, burn calories and boost your fitness level. This class is designed to burn in all the right places. Our high intensity sprints should be included at least once a week in your training schedule. This is real bang for your buck when you need to balance a busy work life with your training program.
